WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FIRST EXTENSION OF TIME to temporarily waive off-site improvements (including paving) for a portion of Patrick Lane in conjunction with a proposed shopping center on 18.7 acres in a C-2 (General Commercial) Zone and a C-P (Office & Professional) Zone in the MUD-3 and CMA Design Overlay Districts.  Generally located along the north side of Patrick Lane (alignment) and the west side of the 215 Beltway within Spring Valley.  SB/mv/nd  Approved 4-0 w/staff conditions

ZONE CHANGE to reclassify 2.1 acres from R-E (Rural Estates Residential) (AE-60) Zone to P-F (Public Facility) (AE-60) Zone.

USE PERMIT for a place of worship.

WAIVERS OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS for the following: 1) allow access to a residential local street (El Camino Road); and 2) allow a place of worship not to be accessed from a collector or arterial street where access to a collector or arterial street is required.

4.         UC-0650-09 – SCHOOL BOARD OF TRUSTEES:

USE PERMIT for a health clinic.

DESIGN REVIEW for a health clinic (Casey Jones Health Office) in conjunction with an elementary school (Elaine Wynn Elementary School) on a portion of 8.8 acres in a P-F (Public Facility) Zone.  Generally located on the north side of Coley Avenue and the east side of Westwind Road (alignment) within Spring Valley.  SB/mh/nd  Denied 3-1 (Plotkin)

9.         UC-0611-09 – WARMSPRINGS AND DURANGO PARTNERS, LLC:

USE PERMIT to allow on-premise consumption of alcohol (service bar) in conjunction with a proposed restaurant within an existing shopping center on a portion of 2.3 acres in a C-1 (Local Business) Zone in the MUD-3 Overlay District.  Generally located on the north side of Warm Springs Road, 560 feet west of Durango Drive within Spring Valley.  SB/mv/df  Approved 4-0 w/staff conditions

 

10.        UC-0616-09 – COMMERCIAL CONCEPTS, LLC:

USE PERMIT to reduce the separation from an on-premise consumption of alcohol establishment (supper club) to a residential use in conjunction with an existing shopping center on a portion of 1.8 acres in a C-2 (General Commercial) Zone.  Generally located on the north side of Flamingo Road, 500 feet west of Jones Boulevard within Spring Valley.  SB/mv/nd  Approved 4-0 w/staff conditions
