1.         VS-1398-07 (ET-0356-09) – UNLV RESEARCH FOUNDATION:

VACATE AND ABANDON FIRST EXTENSION OF TIME easements of interest to Clark County located between Durango Drive and Cimarron Road, and between Patrick Lane and Sunset Road, and portions of rights-of-way being Gagnier Street located between Patrick Lane and Sobb Avenue, and Sobb Avenue between Gagnier Street and Tomsik Street in an M-D (Designed Manufacturing) Zone in the MUD-2, MUD-3, and CMA Design Overlay Districts within Spring Valley (description on file).  SS/jud/dr  Approved 4-0 with staff conditions.

 

2.         UC-0743-09 – HART-SAHARA, LLC:

USE PERMITS for the following:  1) second hand sales; and 2) check cashing within an existing commercial building on 0.7 acres in a C-1 (Local Business) Zone in the MUD-3 Overlay District.  Generally located 270 feet west of Buffalo Drive on the south side of Sahara Avenue within Spring Valley.  lb/co/nd  Approved 4-0 with staff conditions

5.         UC-1578-99 (ET-0002-10) – Korean-american calvary Presbyterian church:

WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FIRST EXTENSION OF TIME to commence full off-site improvements (excluding paving) in conjunction with an existing place of worship on 2.3 acres in an R-E (Rural Estates Residential) Zone in the Desert Inn Road Transition Corridor Overlay District.  Generally located on the north side of Desert Inn Road, 460 feet west of Torrey Pines Drive within Spring Valley.  LB/jud/nd  Approved 4-0 with staff conditions

USE PERMITS for the following: 1) second hand sales; 2) check cashing within an existing commercial building.

WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS to reduce the separation between check cashing facilities in conjunction with an existing commercial building on 1.0 acre in a C-1 (Local Business) Zone.  Generally located on the west side of Jones Boulevard and the south side of Flamingo Road within Spring Valley.  sb/co/nd  Approved 4-0 with staff conditions

 

8.         WS-0748-09 – FAIRFIELD RILEY POST, LP:

WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS to allow a project identification sign to be located away from the primary entrance to a project.

DESIGN REVIEW for signs in conjunction with an approved residential condominium project on 14.4 acres in a U-V (Urban Village) Zone in the MUD-2, CMA, and West Village Streetscape Design Overlay Districts.  Generally located on the east side of Seelinger Street and the south side of Post Road within Spring Valley.  sb/co/nd  Approved 4-0 with staff conditions
