1.         UC-0019-10 – rainbow russell auto, llc:

USE PERMIT for an automobile paint and body shop accessory to automobile sales in conjunction with an existing commercial building on 0.5 acres in a C-2 (General Commercial) Zone in the CMA Design Overlay District.  Generally located 280 feet west of Rainbow Boulevard, on the north side of Russell Road within Spring Valley.  SS/mv/ph  Applicant was a no show.  Item to be rescheduled.

 

2.         WS-0014-10 – UNLV RESEARCH FOUNDATION:

WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS to allow a non-standard street improvement in the right-of-way (landscape median) on a portion of 27.0 acres in an M-D (Designed Manufacturing) Zone in the MUD-3 and CMA Design Overlay Districts.  Generally located on the north side of Sunset Road, 1,000 feet west of Cimarron Road within Spring Valley.  SS/mv/dr  Approved 5-0 with staff conditions

3.         WS-0003-10 – CAROLINE’S COURT, LLC:

WAIVERS OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS for the following: 1) allow alternative building orientation; and 2) eliminate cross-access with adjacent lots.

WAIVERS OF CONDITIONS for the following: 1) ZC-0977-00 requiring full compliance with Title 30 regulations; 2) ZC-0977-00 requiring the recording of reciprocal, perpetual cross access, ingress/egress and parking agreements; 3) ZC-0977-00 requiring common ingress/egress with adjoining properties; and 4) ZC-1904-04 requiring a design review to the Board of County Commissioners on the remaining portion of development to ensure full compliance with the CMA Overlay.

DESIGN REVIEW for an outpatient medical office on 9.6 acres in a C-2 (General Commercial) Zone and a C-2 (General Commercial) (AE-60) Zone in the MUD-3 and CMA Design Overlay Districts.  Generally located on the northwest corner of Buffalo Drive and Warm Springs Road within Spring Valley.  SS/mv/dr  All waivers approved 5-0 with staff conditions.  Cross access was impossible due to the VA requiring fenced parking.
