DESIGN REVIEW for control access gates in conjunction with an existing office complex on 8.1 acres in a C-P (Office & Professional) Zone.  Generally located on the southeast corner of Hacienda Avenue and Durango Drive within Spring Valley.  ss/bk/dr  Approved 5-0 w/staff conditions.

 

2.         UC-0515-06 (ET-0075-10) - palm mortuary, inc:

USE PERMIT SECOND EXTENSION OF TIME to commence a funeral home in an R-E (Rural Estates Residential) Zone.

DESIGN REVIEW for a funeral home on 4.3 acres in an R-E (Rural Estates Residential) Zone in the MUD-3 and CMA Design Overlay Districts.  Generally located on the northeast corner of Warm Springs Road and Myers Street within Spring Valley.  SS/jt/dr  Approved 5-0 w/staff conditions.

 

3.         UC-0181-10 – NEVADA POWER COMPANY:

USE PERMIT to reduce the separation between communication towers.

DESIGN REVIEW for a communication tower and associated ground equipment in conjunction with an existing power substation on 1.8 acres in a C-1 (Local Business) Zone in the MUD-4 Overlay District.  Generally located on the northeast corner of Hualapai Way and University Avenue within Spring Valley.  SB/bk/dr  Approved 5-0 w/staff conditions.

 

4.        C-0189-10 – YU SUEMIN REVOCABLE TRUST, ET AL:

USE PERMIT for a congregate care facility.

DESIGN REVIEW for a congregate care facility on 10.0 acres in an R-E (Rural Estates Residential) Zone.  Generally located on the west side of Buffalo Drive, 660 feet south of Robindale Road within Spring Valley.  ss/pb/dr  Approved 5-0 w/staff conditions and additional condition by the TAB that the property taxes be brought current.

 

5.         VS-0193-10 – anderson, tamaria:

VACATE AND ABANDON easements of interest to Clark County located between El Parque Avenue and O’Bannon Drive, and between Red Rock Street and Duneville Street, and portions of rights-of-way being El Parque Avenue between Red Rock Street and Duneville Street, and Duneville Street between El Parque Avenue and O’Bannon Drive in an R-E (Rural Estates Residential) Zone within the Spring Valley Planning Area.  LB/jt/dr  Approved 5-0 w/staff conditions
