WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT
STANDARDS for an over-length cul-de-sac on
Approved 3-0 with staff conditions
2. WS-0466-13
– ALLIED BUILDING MATERIALS, INC:
WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS to reduce setbacks for
existing accessory structures in conjunction with a masonry and precast
concrete manufacturing facility with outside storage.
DESIGN REVIEW for existing accessory shade structures (on 8.4 acres in an M-1 (Light Manufacturing) (AE-60) (AE-65) Zone
in the
Approved 2-1
with staff if-approved conditions including assuring all structures meet code requirements.
The facility has
been working for 7+ years. It appears well-maintained and not out of character
with the surrounding parcels, all of which are some form of commercial/BDRP.
Member Laible felt the adjacency of the structures to a wall was not
acceptable. The wall is NOT on the property line.

WAIVERS OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS for the following: 1)
waive design standards by allowing modified building elevations; 2)
reduced street intersection off-set; and 3) modified street improvements
in accordance with
DESIGN REVIEW for a single family residential development. Generally located on the
northeast corner of
Items 3 and 5 were heard together. This was
the third time they had come before the SVTAB and no representative has ever
appeared. Given the lack of participation by the applicant and corresponding
lack of any information upon which to make a decisions both items were DENIED
3-0.

– R.K.G. Trust:
VACATE
Approved 3-0 with staff conditions.
It
amounts to a “clean-up” following previous approval of the corresponding action
for this parcel.
