Denied 5-0

TAB expressed views the net lot sizes were too small and out of character with the RNP1 overlay in which they lie. When this overlay was approved by the BCC commissioners offered owners along the perimeter (which includes this parcel(s) ) that if they opted for RNP protection they would not be received well asking for changes in the future. TAB reinforced that position.

3.                   TM-0044-15 - ABERLE, HEINRICH J. REVOCABLE TRUST:

TENTATIVE MAP consisting of 9 single family residential lots and common lots on 4.7 acres in an R-E (Rural Estate Residential) (AE-60 & AE-65) Zone and an R-E (Rural Estates Residential) (RNP-I) (AE-60 & AE-65) Zone in the CMA Design Overlay District.  Generally located on the north side of Teco Avenue and the west and east sides of Duneville Street (alignment) within Spring Valley.  SS/dg/ml  (For possible action)

Denied 4-1

There were several neighbors who appeared and indicated issues with the proposal damaging the privacy of nearby/adjoining yards. There seems to be poor relations between the applicant and the neighbors. TAB expressed concern this was an excuse to allow large equipment storage. Applicant claimed it was for RV parking, but has no RV and said he has no plans to acquire one. He also stated the gate was needed to enhance his grandchildren’s walk to school, although the front entrance to the property is a more direct path to the school.
