allow alternative landscaping; 2) allow alternatives to the Desert Inn
Transition Corridor Overlay Design Standards; and 3) reduced separation
between an intersection and a driveway approach.

This was a very contentious issue. 34 opposed plus a
petition were in attendance. There were 2 present in favor. Summary- the TAB
was unanimous that this was appropriate at this location. The placement of gas
pumps a few yards from a medical facility with people under anesthesia presents
safety issues. There are also noise and related concerns and a belief this is
out of character with the location. The single vote in favor was to approve the
zone request.
3. NZC-0344-15 –
USE
PERMIT for increased height.
WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS to reduce parking.
DESIGN REVIEWS for the following: 1) a
