ZONE CHANGE to reclassify 2.5 acres from R-E (Rural Estates Residential) Zone to R-1 (Single Family Residential) Zone in the CMA Design Overlay District. 

DESIGN REVIEW for a single family residential development.  Generally located on the west side of Cimarron Road, 300 feet south of Robindale Road within Spring Valley (description on file).  SS/gc/ls  (For possible action) BCC 11/18/15

Approved Zone Change 5-0 with additional conditions: 4du/acre, posted signage disclosing planned park and congregate care facility, Denied design review due to lack of presentation.

NOTE** There was much discussion of this proposal that included Nancy Amundsen representing the Planning Department. There was much concern about protecting the park proposal and how that conflicted with the rights of the property owners. Discussion revealed that three parties, the TAB, applicant and adjacent congregate care agreed this was NOT a good location for houses and alternate options should be explored to protect the park and the interests of the other parties. Applicant subsequently withdrew this application.
