54.       HOLDOVER AG-0258-08:

That the Board of County Commissioners conduct a public hearing to determine whether a Default of Section 4.03 of the Development Agreement between Mountain’s Edge, LLC and Clark County has occurred and if necessary, to direct staff on any methods to be used to resolve this default..  

55.       AG-0747-08:

That the Board of County Commissioners accept the required two year review of the Southern Highland’s Development Agreement and make a finding of substantial compliance with the completed terms of said development agreement.

56.       AG-1099-08:

That the Board of County Commissioners consider modifications to the standard zoning agenda, and direct staff accordingly.

Several members of the Board have recently expressed an interest in modifying the zoning agenda format to one session. This format was used between February 2001 and October 2001. However, due to an increase in the number of items, the format reverted to the current morning and afternoon format. If the Board directs, staff will reorganize the agenda to have a continuous meeting. Staff will inform our regular customers of the change if this is approved. It is believes that this can be accomplished for the September 17, 2008 me

57.       CP-1554-07:

That the Board of County Commissioners hold a public hearing on Item #1 of the 2007 Annual Amendment of the Enterprise Land Use Plan, then direct staff accordingly. 

On July 1, 2008 the Planning Commission received the Clark County Board of County Commissioner's report on the Enterprise 2007 Annual Amendment with the reduction in the land use category for Item #1 to RL (Residential Low — up to 3.5 du/ac). At that time, the Planning Commission recommended that the PF (Public Facilities) designation be reinstated on Item #1. The Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on August 5, 2008 and recommended approval of the P-F designation.

60.       CP-1024-08:

That the Board of County Commissioners initiate the amendment process for an amendment to the Transportation Element Map 1.3 to remove Pebble Road from Fort Apache Road to Hualapai Way as a 100 foot arterial and add the first 660 feet of Pebble Road west of Fort Apache Road as an 80 foot collector.

That the Board of County Commissioners consider an ordinance to allow gravel pits within the M-2 zoning district subject to a special use permit; and direct staff accordingly.

An ordinance to amend Title 30, Chapter 30.44, Table 30.44-1 and Appendix G Map 11; to allow gravel pits and related uses within the M-2 zoning district subject to special use permit processing and to establish regulations for rock crushing facilities and providing for other matters properly related thereto.
